Khyber Pass Rd from Boston Rd to Park Rd was closed completely to traffic overnight while work was done on the new Grafton train station on the Boston Rd side.

A large crane was shifted and work continued on preparation for the platforms and stairs leading to the new station.

Latest hopes are for the new station to be completed by March 12.
As dawn broke and the road re-opened around 5am, this was the result of their work, looking from the Khyber Pass towards the present Boston Rd station from Khyber Pass:

  1. Does anyone know if ARTA has any plans to hire a graffiti company to control the rail areas? and what sort of price these companies require? In an ideal situation the contract would be the one and the same for the motorway corridors – we can dream.
