if the speed limit and other driving rules were actually enforced on Tamaki drive and just about every other urban road in NZ these extra safety measures would be unnecessary. everytime i drive along there at less than 60kph i feel like i’m holding everyone up, especially when i get to the 2 lane part and everyone flies past.
how many roadies are in that bunch and can’t bear to slow to the speed limit.
go mountain biking it’s safer.

these t2 lanes are really silly. I would love to see stats of how many people they encourage to carpool, I would suggest it would be close to 0. They only result of these is likely to delay buses by telling any cheeky driver that it is ok to drive in the bus lane.
