Newmarket’s new station opens January 18 – the day rail services resume on all lines after the Christmas closedown.
Trains stop running from Dec 25 (there are no services Christmas day anyway) until January 18, replaced by buses, for the hectic development work and then the resumption of services will be marked by the opening of the new station.

I wish they had set-up big electronic information screens like at britomart, any chance they just havn’t been set-up as of yet?
